IFRE Volunteers abroad

What about the organisation?

IFRE is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization based in Dallas, Texas, USA. They founded IFRE’s volunteer abroad program in 2005 after realizing the need for safe and affordable volunteer abroad programs. So far, nearly 3000 volunteers have participated in their meaningful volunteer programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America. IFRE is headquartered in Dallas, Texas and has multiple offices with 100+ experienced field employees throughout the 18 developing countries they support in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The volunteer assignments are not one-size-fits-all. No matter what country volunteers choose, IFRE offers the most-unique and customized volunteer projects. Their project placement process considers the personal interests, skills and experience of each volunteer. Their local in-country coordinator explores the best local organizations and handpicks the perfect program for each volunteer. Volunteers receive detailed information of their project, including living arrangements and food, prior to arrival

Mission

IFRE Volunteers’ mission is to offer the most affordable and highest quality volunteer-abroad experiences in the world – enabling them to positively contribute to humanity and improve our world. They aim to spread love and compassion worldwide through their volunteers and interns improving lives of destitute children and less-fortunate communities. They have no political or religious affiliations.

Vision

IFRE will create and offer volunteer abroad programs that include humanitarian contributions, cultural experiences and idea exchanges, which are catalysts for positive change in communities, people, children and our international volunteers.
